SRINAGAR: A Western Disturbance is set to affect Jammu and Kashmir on October 9th.
This disturbance will bring rain and snow starting in the afternoon, gradually spreading across most areas by night. It will be brief, with clearer weather expected on the morning of October 10th.
Snowfall is expected in higher regions such as Zojila, Mughal Road, Sinthan Top, parts of the Pir Panjal Range, and the elevated areas of Gurez, Baramulla, Anantnag, and Kupwara districts.
However, plains are not expected to experience snowfall.
