The weather activity is expected to remain intermittent, with brief spells of rain and thundershowers likely mainly during the early morning and afternoon hours.

Conditions are forecast to improve from September 18, with generally dry weather expected across Jammu and Kashmir through September 25. However, isolated places may receive brief spells of rain during this period.

The forecast comes as daytime temperatures remain above normal across the Union Territory.
