Raj Bhavan Secretariat intimates revised protocol, “Hon’ble” to be used instead of “His Excellency”

On the instructions of N. N.Vohra, Governor Jammu and Kashmir, the Raj Bhavan Secretariat has informed the State Government, before the Darbar closed, that, in future correspondence, instead of “His Excellency” the word “Hon’ble” may be used before the title of Governor. The word “Excellency” would however, be used in Governor’s interactions with foreign dignitaries.
