Conveying message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to police personnel “appreciating bravery and valour of jawans”, Singh said government acknowledges their “good work.”
Singh who is on four day visit to J&K also appealed to policemen “that they should share their grievances directly with him.” He was speaking to Police and CRPF personnel at district Islamabad.
Singh while talking about the sacrifices of police personnel said “I have seen the picture of martyred ASI Abdul Rashid’s daughter. I saw her face drenched with tears. It is difficult to forget that picture.”
