District Administration Rajouri Thursday sealed four private medical establishments for being run in violation of norms.
As per officials, the action was taken by the district administration during a surprise inspection conducted in the backdrop of frequent public complaints about the private medical establishments being run in the district in violation of the set norms.
The complaints were about the wrong diagnosis/test results by the clinical laboratories, being run without qualified laboratory technicians and permission by the competent authority.
Taking strong note, the District Magistrate Mohammad Aijaz Asad constituted a team headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh and simultaneous inspections were conducted in the identified illegal medical clinics and Labs, which were later sealed.
