Taking a dig on Sajad Lone for calling Narendra Modi ‘big brother’, National Conference candidate for Handwara constituency Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan Tuesday said that how long people like him are going to befool people of Kashmir. “Lone family is keeping both India and Pakistan happy. One brother hugs Indian Prime Minister while another hugs his Pakistani counterpart. Both the brothers are in a way helping each other and making quick bucks as well,” Ramzan told CNS adding that people like Sajad and Bilal Lone can’t befool people of Kashmir any more.
Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan added that BJP is the product of Jan Sangh the premier of Sangh was once invited to Kashmir by the father of Sajad Lone. “Sajad Lone has repeated what his father did in past. Late Abdul Gani Lone invited the Jan Sangh head Murarji Desai to Kashmir and later on the behest of the same Jan Sangh, people of Kashmir were harassed and tortured on the one or the other pretext,” he said.
The Transport Minister said that it has become a trend in Kashmir that brother or any close relative of any leader join the opposite group and by doing so they maintain a balance and keep both India and Pakistan in high spirits. “During gun culture, Sajad Lone spoke the language of freedom fighters and when the shadow of the gun started diminishing, he changed sides and started praising those who were his foes,” he said.
National Conference leader appealed people to comprehend the designs and motives of people like Sajad Lone and his brother and don’t allow them to succeed in their mission. “Sajad Lone is an opportunist. There are scores of opportunists present both in separatist and mainstream politics. It is high time to teach them a lesson and only people can do it by not supporting them,” he said.
