In a first, the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Dr Asgar Samoon Monday inaugurated a free coaching centre for class 12th students of Langate Constituency.
The initiative is a brain child of MLA Langate Er Rasheed in collaboration with Joint Effort Trust (JET).
A press statement issued here stated that the top brass of civil and police administration, prominent citizens and teachers were present on the occasion.
Addressing the students on the occasion Dr Asgar Samoon hailed the efforts of JET for its tremendous efforts in the social and education sector in the area, the statement added.
He asked students to give due attention to moral education and added that education is useless unless it doesn’t touch the human and moral aspects. “Dr Samoon assured of all possible help for the cause and said that the move taken by JET will provide equal opportunities to the students of the area to compete for competitive exams.”
On the occasion Rasheed thanked Divisional Commissioner and other dignitaries for offering their moral and logistic support to the noble cause and reiterated that he will use all options, resources, opportunities and skills to ensure that the future generation gets best possible education.
