SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved repair and renovation of the historic Rattan Garh Fort in Bhaderwah, Doda, at a cost of Rs 10 crore.

The initiative is aimed at preserving the region’s historical heritage and promoting tourism in Bhaderwah and its adjoining areas.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced the approval, saying the project would help protect the historic site while giving a boost to local tourism.
The renovation is expected to enhance the fort’s tourism potential and attract more visitors to the Bhaderwah region.
