SRINAGAR: Army on Friday detained a resident of Rawlakote along LoC in the Kirni sector of the border district Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir.
He was captured by the Indian Army close to the Line of Control (LoC) at around 4 AM, according to official sources. “He is still in the care of security personnel and is believed to be mentally disabled.”
He has been identified as Irshad Ahmed, 21, son of Jahangir Ahmad, a resident of a village in Rawlakote on the other side of Line of Control. He is currently being questioned.
