Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen Tuesday said that people of Kashmir have given Supreme Court of India no right to intervene into their own constitution. The outfit said that Kashmir is a dispute and people of Kashmir neither subscribe to the rulings of Indian Parliament nor its Supreme Court.

“India has herself accepted Kashmir as a dispute and plebiscite the right of the people by taking the matter into the United Nations. “The verdict of Supreme Court to hang Afzal Guru to satisfy the collective conscience of Indian people put a question mark on this institution,” the Hizb Chief said.

As per a statement issued to local news agency CNS, Syed Salahuddin said that rearresting of ailing woman separatist leader Asiya Andrabi shows the ‘helplessness’ of judicial system in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Asiya Andrabi is not keeping well. Her son is ill too. Under these circumstances rearresting her even after court directed her release from the prison shows how India is violating the rules and trampling the human rights in Kashmir,” Hizb Chief Syed Salahuddin said and sought the intervention of International Human Rights Organizations into the matter.
