In a statement party, General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi has expressed surprise over the long delay in releasing payment to contractors while having completed their projects by abiding by all norms and tendering process.

Channi said that after the qualifying tendering process, the contractors and different firms executed their works and even handed over the projects to the concerned department, besides the suppliers supplied the required material etc, which are being utilized for years, but the payment has not been released in their favour, which has caused enormous hardships to them.
