Expressing his regret and shock over the killing of young Rafiq Hussain Rather by Indian forces at Gagran Shopian, APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday condemned the cold blooded murder of yet another Kashmiris in strongest terms.
He said the entire Kashmir was in mourning over the killing of four youth in the area by Indian troops staying in the camp.
Mirwaiz said, “This murder by the unbridled forces in the camp has put the entire Kashmir in anger and again the pall of gloom has descended on the entire state.” He termed the forces camp in Gagran as “Killer camp.”
APHC Chairman has demanded immediate removal of the Gagran camp and other camps in the valley to ensure safety of Kashmiris.
Paying rich tributes to Rafiq, Mirwaiz has said “the state government was equally responsible for the deaths of innocent Kashmiris since it gives legitimacy to the Indian control in Kashmir.” He said the state government is just a puppet whose strings are being run from New Delhi, they cannot escape the responsibility of atrocities against innocent Kashmiris.
Mirwaiz has demanded the immediate action into the killings of Kashmirs day in and day out through international rights agencies .
