A 60-year-old woman was charred to death on Saturday morning after her house caught fire in Rafiabad village of district Baramulla.
The deceased has been identified as Begum Jan, a resident of Lari Aangan Rafiabad, Baramulla.
Reports said that the woman died after her house caught fire.
An official from the police department said that woman has died due to burn injuries and the cause of the fire is yet is ascertained.
