SRINAGAR: Extending full support to the genuine demands of the transporters fraternity, the Kashmir Economic Alliance has appealed to Raj Bhawan to resolve their issues at the earliest.
In a statement, the KEA Chairman Muhammad Yasin Khan said the transporters are the lifeline of any society and their contribution cannot be ignored by any civilized society.
In an appeal to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Khan said given financial challenges, transporters need a revamp of policy on every front and that their demands are genuine, which need to be met.
He said the transporters have already suffered a lot especially in the last two years and thus government must show serious concern.
