Residents of Kashmir got a much-needed reprieve from cold wave conditions as the night temperature rose by three degrees.
Srinagar city recorded minus 1.7, degree Celsius temperature, tourist destination was at minus 2.8 and Ski resort Gulmarg was at minus six as the minimum temperatures, an official from MeT department said.
The Jammu city recorded 6.8 degree Celsius, while Karta was at 8.1, Batote 5.2, Bhaderwah 3.2 and Udhampur 3.5 degrees Celsius.
While Kargil in the Ladakh region was the coldest in Jammu and Kashmir at minus 16.5 degrees Celsius, and Leh was at minus 11.2.
