Restore Art 370, Will Talk, Imran Khan Says

SRINAGAR: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated that Pakistan will have talks with India if New Delhi restores Jammu and Kashmir’s pre-5 August status.

A news item published in the Hindustan Times quoted Khan during a live questions and answers session with the people saying, “If Pakistan revives its relations with India (without the latter restoring the status of Kashmir), it will be similar to turning our back on the Kashmiris.”

Delhi has been reiterating that Kashmir is an integral part of India and it has the capacity of solving its own problems. At the same time, however, India is desirous of normal neighbourly relations with Pakistan.
