According to District Magistrate, Srinagar, restrictions have been put in place in entire Srinagar from midnight March 13, 2013, till further orders.
The step according to the statement has been taken to maintain law and order in the district.
“To avoid breach of peace and tranquility besides damage to life and property, restrictions on the movement of public and transport under Section 144 Cr. PC are imposed in entire Srinagar district from midnight March 13, 2013 till further orders,” read the statement
Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar has been directed to strictly implement the restrictions.
