Srinagar district administration Friday decided to impose restrictions in jurisdictions of five police stations on Saturday, officials said.
Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone said that restrictions under Section 144 will be imposed in Khanyar, Rainawari, Nowhatta, Safakadal and MR Gunj police stations.
The announcement followed the civilian killings in Arwani and shutdown call by resistance leaders.
Meanwhile, in an order issued by the DC Pulwama, there shall be strict restrictions on the movement of people in Pampore Tehsil tomorrow (Saturday) as the section 144 of Cr. P.C. shall remain in place in the entire town upto the fall of dusk.
The restrictions shall however, not be imposed on medical exegesis.
