President of Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi Syed Altaf Andrabi Saturday while paying tributes to Mirwaiz Moulana Mohammad Farooq, Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone and Hawal Martyrs on their anniversaries said that these “martyrs” are our ‘beacon light’ that will also “enlighten” the future generations of Kashmir.

In a statement issued this evening, Andrabi said, “the huge sacrifices of these luminaries would be remembered and anniversaries would be celebrated in free and independent atmosphere one day Insha Allah.”

Condemning the “approach” of forces, Andrabi said, “restrictions and curbs on peaceful public rallies is a barbarous assault over UN charter and a slap on worldly democratic set-up.”

“Restricting the common masses from paying the homage and tributes to their martyred leaders is the highest form of political state terrorism that cannot diminish the freedom emotions of Kashmiris,” he asserted.
