Authorities have decided to continue restrictions in areas falling under five police stations in downtown Srinagar on Sunday fearing law and order problems.

As per district administration Srinagar, restrictions under Sec 144 will be imposed in Khanyar, Nowhatta, Rainawari, Safakadal and MR Gunj police station areas.

The officials have also said that the admit cards of UPSC for civil services preliminary exam will be treated as curfew passes.

Tensions gripped valley after two civilians were killed and dozens other injured after clashes broke near encounter site in Arwani area of Islamabad district.

On Saturday, on the call of joint separatist leadership Kashmir valley remained shut to mourn the killings.

In the encounter, on Saturday morning three bodies of Lashker militants, including its Kulgam district commander Junaid Matoo, were recovered.

The two civilians killed were killed after bullet hit them in chest.
