Following the CBT, the final answer key was made public in a notice dated November 3, 2023. Additionally, candidates with National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates were awarded extra marks based on their certificates as follows:

5 percent of the maximum marks for NCC “C” certificate holders.

3 percent of the maximum marks for NCC “B” certificate holders.

2 percent of the maximum marks for NCC “A” certificate holders.

In a related development, some candidates had submitted their concerns to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Jammu Bench, regarding the age limit for Sub-Inspector recruitment, as advertised in J&K Services Selection Board’s Notification No 06 of 2021, dated October 21, 2021. The Tribunal allowed these applicants to participate in the selection process, with results to be withheld until further orders.

The results and scoresheets for candidates who took the CBT for the Sub Inspector posts have been published as Annexure “A,” while the results for candidates in Annexure “B” are currently withheld.

It’s essential to note that inclusion in the results or scoresheets does not guarantee further selection. Candidates must meet all other eligibility conditions, and the Board’s decisions are considered final.

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) will soon announce the schedule for the Physical Standard Test / Physical Endurance Test for eligible candidates.

Candidates claiming additional marks for NCC certificates should be prepared for verification.
