SRINAGAR: The body of a retired government official was found on Tuesday near the Batote area of Ramban district.
Quoting officials, GNS reported that the body of the retired government employee was discovered by some locals this morning, lying on a road.
Subsequently, a police team reached the spot and took the body into custody for medico-legal formalities.
He has been identified as Nalin Kotwal, son of Jai Lal Kotwal, a resident of Dani Udrana, Bhaderwah.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard, and an investigation has been initiated.
