Ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Tuesday while nullifying the reports that a clear ‘no’ was given to state government plea over the return of power projects by the government of India said the process to reclaim the power projects is going on and being monitored by the chief minister himself.

Talking to KNS, PDP general secretary Nizam-Ud-Din Bhat said, “There has not been a categorical ‘no’ to the Jammu and Kashmir government’s plea and that return of power projects is very much included in the CMP between BJP and PDP- signed at the time of government formation.”

Bhat said that the agenda of alliance are monitored by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed themselves and that the process to bring back the power projects continues with hectic efforts being made by the state government.  “One must not read between the lines and an unnecessary hype being given to a one particular meet cannot generalize the entire process,” he said.
