People’s Conference chairman Sajad Gani Lone on Monday claimed that National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah had held a secret meeting in Delhi following the 2014 Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking to social networking site Twitter Sajad wrote: “Question to Omar Abdullah asked in the Kralpora rally. After the 2014 assembly election results. — with which national party president was he closeted for 2 hours pleading for support. If he doesn’t answer by Tmrow. We will make the answer public in the Handwara rally tmrow.”
Lone castigated Omar for blaming the PDP-BJP government for NIA issuing summons to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
The NIA was created during the rule of NC’s ally Congress at the Centre, he said and asked why Omar and his father Farooq Abdullah had remained silent on the issue back then.
