SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT) announced a rescheduling of the annual examination dates for 8th-standard students on Saturday.
According to the revised date sheet, the exams for the soft zone areas will commence on March 13, 2024, and conclude on April 2, 2024. Meanwhile, the exams for the hard zone areas will start on March 26, 2024, and end on April 10, 2024. All examinations will be conducted from 11 AM to 1 PM as per the scheduled dates.
Previously, the exams were scheduled to commence from March 5.
The SCERT has appealed to students, parents, teachers, and examiners to cooperate with the authorities for the smooth conduct of the exams. Additionally, the SCERT extended best wishes to all students for their upcoming examinations.
