Road Accident, Firing Jams Narbal, One Injured

Massive disorder was reported on Jhelum Valley Road when an army truck hit a motor cycle. The traffic jam at Narbal has halted any movement on either side.

Witnesses reported that truck of a convoy hit a motor cycle in Narbal that led to massive protests. The injured youth was evacuated to the hospital. The injured was identity as Bashir A Bhat of Chak Kawoosa.

However, the road accident led to massive protests and clashes that confounded the mess on the highway. Hundreds of vehicle are waiting to pass the momentary flash-point. A Kashmir life staffer heard firing shots too. But nobody in the police was in a position to offer details.

A report from SMHS hospital said one injured person has reached the hospital. It was not immediately known if he was hit by teh bullet or was injured in the road accident.

A police officer said the youth hit by the truck was injured and survived with minor injuries. “He is stable,” the officer said. He admitted that cops resorted to tear smoke shelling after the accident. He said army fired a few rounds in air which was followed with a reactionary protests by the locals.
