Kindergarten students of RP School mesmerized a gathering of parents and grandparents during an annual event held at the convocation complex of Kashmir University on Saturday.

“The event was organized by Alamdar Colony, Mallabagh branch of RP School, one of the leading chains of private schools in Kashmir Valley,” a statement of RP school Srinagar said here.

“The students left the audience spellbound with their performances. They played skits, sang solo and in groups and delivered awe-inspiring speeches on various themes. The event was anchored by a scholar of LKG class who spoke flawlessly in English inviting applauds from the audience,” it said.

The statement said that the grandparents were seen submerged in the aura of the auditorium as the minor children appeared on the podium with their skillful performances.

Chairman of the Private Schools Association Ghulam Nabi Var appreciated the school management for leading from the front to create a niche for private schools in Kashmir to connect the system of education with the religious and traditional ethos of Kashmir.

He asked the parents to appreciate the role of private schools in safeguarding the future generation of Kashmir, which is subject to a bevy of overt and covert challenges.

Mir Shabir Hussain, Chairman of RP Group of Schools, in his address stressed upon quality education and sought public participation for meeting tough challenges confronting the society at large. Vice Chairman Ashiq Hussian Nadvi recited dua at the conclusion of the function.
