Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday has released Rs 14569.8430 lakhs for paying the pending salaries of teachers working under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme in the state.

As per government order No. 11-Gaash of 2018 sanction is hereby accorded to the release of funds to the tune of Rs. 14569.8430/-lakhs (Rupees One Hundred Forty-Five Crores Sixty Nine Lakhs Eighty Four Thousand & Three Hundred only) out of Central Share in favour of Chief Education Officers of J&K Stale on account of “Salary” of SSA teachers for the month of July, 2018 under Samagra Shiksha Plan 2018-19 as per the following breakup.

“Deviation of funds from one object of expenditure to another is not allowed. The salary shall be released only to the SSA teachers after fulfilling all the codal formalities,” reads a circular issued by the directorate of Samagra Shiksha.
