An amount of Rs. 8000 was realized from the erring shopkeepers from different places in Srinagar.
The field executives of Legal Metrology Department under the instructions of Joint Controller, Legal Metrology conducted market inspection of several markets which include Jawahar Nagar, Khanyar, Nowhatta, Pampore, Handwara, Pulwama, Kupwara and booked as many as 24 erring traders for violating Packaged Commodities/Weights and Measures laws.
