Ruckus in Assembly, ‘Girti Hui Sarkar Ko…’

The third day of 2016-17 J&K Budget Session is witnessing continuous din since it resumed its business at 10 AM.

The lawmakers are standing in front of J&K Government spokesperson and minister for education, Naeem Akhtar demanding answers to their issues.

Led by National Conference lawmaker, Devender Singh Rana, the lawmakers are asking Akhtar to punish accused in Handwara civilian killings and supply of adequate ration for J&K.

Unlike other days, the opposition lawmakers are in the house and have not moved out yet.

While speaker Kavinder Gupta has asked opposition to resume their positions in their seats, PDP’s Javaid Mir stood and asked opposition not to stop Akhtar from answering queries.

The Opposition lawmakers also raised slogans, “Girti Hui Sarkar Ko, Aek Daka Aur Do,” while theyr forced themselves towards chair of the speaker but forcibly dtoped by marshals.
