Sabzar killing: Shutdown on May 28, 29 ;‘Tral chalo’ on May 30

Following the killing of top militant Sabzar Ahmad Bhat, his aide and a civilian in Tral,  joint separatist leadership has called for a state-wide shutdown on Sunday and Monday (May 28, 29) to protest the use of “unbridled force.”

The trio leaders Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Yasin Malik, has also called for a march to Tral on May 30 to pay tributes to Bhat and seven other militants killed in separate encounters on Saturday.

“The leadership has appealed to the people to participate in hundreds of thousands in the programme to pay best tribute to the slain militants,” said a statement.
