‘Sacred Mission of Martyrs is Precious Treasure of Our Nation,’ says Malik

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Thursday said that the “sacred mission of martyrs is a precious treasure of our oppressed nation”.

“We will leave no stone unturned to fulfil this mission,” he said in a JKLF statement issued this evening after presiding over a meeting in this regard while remembering Ishfaq Majeed Wani, Dr Abdul Ahad Guru, Advocate Jalil Indrabi and Syed Shabir Ahmad Sidiqi.

“These martyrs sacrificed their today for the betterment of our tomorrow. No Kashmiri can ever forget their struggle and sacrifices and we will leave no stone unturned to fulfil their sacred mission” Malik said adding, “Kashmiris will keep the flame of freedom struggle lit and will not shy away from any sacrifice in this way.”

While announcing the programs on these death anniversaries, Malik said, “in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Jalil Indrabi on Saturday 26th march 2016, Qur’an Khawani will be held at JKLF head office and at all other district offices. On 30th march 2016, Wednesday, in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-i-Kashmir, Ishfaq Majeed, Wani and Shaheed Shabir Ahmad Sidiqi, a condolence meeting will be held at Mazar-i-Shuhada Eid Gah.”

“On 31st March 2016, Thursday, in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Dr Abdul Ahad Guru, a blood donation camp will be held at Abi Guzar Srinagar. Hameed blood bank will organize the camp in which JKLF leaders’ and well-wishers will donate blood for the sake of humanity. The blood donation camp will start at 10: 30 A.M.”
