Kashmir Gilrs on Sadhbhavna Tour to India

On the last leg of their “immensely educative and enriching tour”, a Srinagar based defence spokesperson Sunday said, the girls from Kashmir have been on a  “whirlwind spree of  hopping from one educational institution to another,  from one cultural event to another; from one place of entertainment to another over the last three days”.

Around thirty Srinagar based girls on a tour to mainland India under army’s “Sadhbavna program”.

“Highlight of their visit to Maulana Azad Medical College was the museum where they saw preserved parts of human anatomy which gave them an insight about the biological science and new operation techniques. The excitement of the girls was evinced from flurry of questions they asked the faculty who were equally enthused to clarify things to these inquisitive minds,” the spokesperson said.

“Their visit to Kala Utsav,  a great place to learn about the diverse cultures in India which was  facilitated by the HRD ministry was yet another inspiring experience  where they met the nobel laureate  Kailash Satyarthi. The girls stole the show when they shared the stage with Smriti Irani and rendered the National Anthem to a thunderous applause.”

“Their own dreams found an expression in the Kingdom of Dreams, the first live entertainment theatre and leisure destination where, besides other things, they witnessed the live show of ‘JHOOMROO’ at Nautanki Mahal and marvelled at the live acting and the audio visual effects,” the spokesperson added. “The students also had a proportionate dose of fun and entertainment when they  visited the Ambience Mall in Gurgaon and even watched Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’  at PVR Saket which took their happiness quotient a couple of notches higher.”
