The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has nominated the Minister for Planning and Development, Labour and Employment, Ajay Sadhotra as the Leader of the Council in pursuance of Section 2(g) of the Rules of Procedures and Conduct of Business in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council. It was said by the government spokesman in a statement issued from Jammu on Wednesday.
