SRINAGAR: Former minister and National Conference Additional General Secretary Ajay Kumar Sadhotra Sunda paid tributes to Indo-Tibetan Border Police Jawan Joginder Kumar for his supreme sacrifice during a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh, saying that his bravery has written another chapter of bravery that has made Duggar Land proud.

Participating in the Tenth Day ceremony of Martyr Joginder Kumar in his native village Abtal Katalan in Samba, Sadhotra said the Jammu region has written with golden letters sagas of valour from times immemorial with warriors laying their lives with a sense of pride in all of their duties.

Sadhotra said, “The brave give their today for our safe and secured tomorrow. The indebted nation has all along been bowing their heads with respect and deep esteem for the sacrifices made by warriors, he said, adding that martyrs will continue to inspire generations to serve the nation in whatever capacity they can. Sadhotra said the martyrdom of brave hearts reminds the crucial need to work towards peace and strive to shape a better future for humanity. The biggest tribute to great heroes is to create a world wherein people live in peace and harmony.”

At the same time, the Nation has to stand united to defeat the scourge of terror and violence that has emerged as the biggest challenge to the global community.

National Conference Additional General Secretary said at this hour of grief and pride the solidarity reflects the sense of gratitude towards the martyrs, which is in consonance with the great heritage and legacy of the Duggar Land that has always stood like a rock behind heroes of the nation. He also expressed solidarity with the family of the martyr and appreciated their resilience in braving their loss with grace and pride.
