Srinagar: Sagar cultural forum of Chukar Pattan on Friday organized a day-long literary conference at town hall Kunzer Tangmarg area of district Baramullah.
In the first session of the conference, a book based on life and poetry of a well-known poet Khamosh Kashmiri (Kreeri) titled “KHAMOSH KASHMIRI ZINDAGI TE SHEAIRI” was also released.
A renowned short story writer Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq was the chief guest while as a well-known educationist and writer Professor Syed Rafi-Ud-din Bukhari presided over the event.
Hundreds of poets and writers across the valley participated in the conference. Famous poet Sagar Nazir, president of the forum welcomed the dignified guests and Abid Ashraf conducted the proceedings of the function.
During the function, Poetry and novel recitation by the poets was the main attraction.
