In a bid to boost entrepreneurship in the state a group of entrepreneurs and students took part in an interaction session with JKEDI in SSM college.

The session cum event was organised by Sahuliyat Kashmir to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to narrate their success stories.

Many new start ups were present on the eve to share their views about business and entrepreneurship.

The theme of the event was ‘unemployment, a silent scream of education.’

Several successful Entrepreneurs also took part in the session.

Cheif Guest for the day, Ambreen Alaqband from EDI women’s wing while addressing the youth said” why we always rely on what we hardly could get and that are government jobs even if government is providing full support to the youth of Kashmir to start their own venture, EDI can prove a helping institution for such aspiring youth all they need is to come forward and start working”.

“We were working in a private school and hardly we could earn to meet our needy expenses but with the thought of starting our own venture, might that belittle is the reason why we are addressing you here as the successful entrepreneurs, ” said Omaira and Beenish owner of crafts world Kashmir.

At the end of the session, the award ceremony was held to felicitate the participants.
