SRINAGAR: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is inviting applicants for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) – (OCTT). The application deadline is March 18, 2024.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 314 vacancies across various disciplines. Specifically, there are 57 openings for Operator cum Technician (Trainee) in Metallurgy, 64 in Electrical, 100 in Mechanical, 17 in Instrumentation, 22 in Civil, 18 in Chemical, 6 in Ceramic, 20 in Computer/IT, and 2 in Draughtsman roles.
For eligibility, candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th) and hold a Diploma in the relevant discipline.
Selected candidates will be offered a consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from INR 16,100 to INR 18,300.
Eligible candidates will be required to appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT) in Hindi/English, and those who qualify in the CBT for the above posts will be shortlisted for a skill test in order of merit.
