SRINAGAR: Peoples Conference president and MLA Handwara, Sajad Gani Lone, on Tuesday raised concerns over not being informed about the rejection of his resolutions on Article 370 and the shifting back of PSA detainees lodged in jails outside JK.
As soon as the Assembly proceedings began, Lone raised the issue of his resolutions being disallowed by the Assembly secretariat without prior notification.
“I have not been informed about my resolutions being disallowed,” Lone said, adding that he should have been notified under Rule 197 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the J&K Legislative Assembly.
In response, the Speaker stated that Lone would be informed about the status of his resolutions. (KNO)
