Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference, Sajjad Lone on Friday expressed his gratitude to the voters while accepting the electoral defeat with humility.
In a statement, he said, “people are and will remain supreme in a democratic society. We have to accept their verdict”. Further he said that the party will analyze the verdict to chalk out the future strategy.
Notably Peoples Conferences’ only candidate in the electoral fray was from Baramulla, Slamudin Bajad, former DDG Prasar Bharti lost to Muzaffar Hussain Beig of PDP. Bajad polled only 71154 votes.
