Ending tensions of the last few days, Peoples Conference (PC) leader Sajjad Lone is finally being included in the Mufti Sayeed led council of ministers. He will be taking oath of office on Sunday, informed sources said.

Lone, who had a pre-poll understanding with the BJP after his ‘famous’ meeting with Prime Minister, eventually won two seats from north Kashmir. While everybody was talking about his status in the new government as a BJP ally, the reports from PDP and BJP suggested that he was not being inducted. Even sources close to Lone were suggesting that they are undecided.

Reports in the media suggested that PDP had played the spoilsport at the last moment as Mufti wanted not to share power with any other Kashmir party. But PDP sources refused any bad blood saying it was some issue solely between BJP and Peoples Conference.

The situation underwent a change on the eve of oath taking when reports of a path-up were reported. Insiders admitted the happening asserting Lone would be one of the ministers who would take oath of office on Sunday. It was, however, not immediately known what berth he will hold in which status.

The sources informed that Sajjad Lone who was at his home in Srinagar from  last few days is on way to Jammu.
