SRINAGAR: In the aftermath of the recent terror incident in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir Minister Sakina Itoo has reached Chandigarh and Punjab to coordinate with students, businesspersons, and individuals from Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, Minister Sakina Itoo wrote, “On the direction of HCM, I am available in Chandigarh and Punjab to meet students, business community and individuals from J&K to ensure a sense of security. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday deputed cabinet ministers to different cities across the country to ensure the safety of Jammu and Kashmir residents.
Pertinently, people, including traders as well as students outside Jammu have been facing harassment following the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 people, mostly tourists, dead and several others injured on April 22.
