Sakina Itoo Reviews Amarnath Yatra Arrangements in Pahalgam

   

SRINAGAR: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Sakina Masood Itoo, on Tuesday, reviewed the ongoing arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025 at Pahalgam.

Pahalgam MLA Altaf Kaloo, Director Health Services Kashmir, and senior officials from various departments accompanied her.

During the inspection, the Minister assessed key infrastructure and logistical works underway to ensure smooth conduct of the Yatra.

Issuing clear instructions to the concerned departments, the Minister directed that all ongoing works must be completed within the stipulated timelines. “There should be no delays or laxity. All departments must coordinate effectively to ensure pilgrims face no inconvenience,” she said.

She also instructed the Health Department to make the Pahalgam Hospital fully operational in the coming days so it can adequately serve both pilgrims and the local population during the Yatra.

The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring safety, sanitation, medical services, and all essential facilities for a smooth and secure pilgrimage.
