SRINAGAR: Saksham scholarship is a Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) scheme specially implemented by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially abled children to pursue Technical Education. The application must be submitted by January 5, 2024
This is an attempt to give every young student who ispecially-ableds otherwise specially able, the opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future.
The candidate should be admitted to the first year or second year diploma course. Specially abled students having a disability of not less than 40 per cent are eligible for this scholarship. Family income of applicants should not be more 8 lakh per annum during a financial year.
Selected students will receive Rs 50‚000 per annum for every year of study. The documents required for the scholarship are Passport size photograph, Disability certificate, Aadhar card, Family income certificate, Previous year marks card and Bonafide certificate.
