Relating ceasefire violations allegedly on part of India with the Assembly elections in Maharashtra, United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Tuesday said that attack on Pakistan along borders is a stint on part of Narendra Modi to appease the Hindu voters in Maharahtra. He said that Modi wants to keep Hindu’s in Maharashtra in good spirit by violating ceasefire along Line of Control.

In a statement issued to CNS, United Jihad Council Chairman termed the ‘continuous ceasefire violation’ on part of India as a frustration of Modi led government. While addressing a high-level meeting of UJC, Syed Salahuddin said that isolation of RSS in Maharashtra elections is worrisome for Modi and in a bid to goad anti-Pakistan sentiments to gain Hindu votes, Modi led government is continuously tainting guns on Pakistan along the borders.

“Modi is feeling humiliation as it has failed to offer respite to the flood affected people of Kashmir. The anger shown by Kashmiri people as well as International community and the way Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief highlighted the Kashmir issue in UN has worried Indian Prime Minister,” he said adding that India is resorting to continuous ceasefire violations to conceal its limitations and flaws.

He said that India is incapable of any advancement along the borders and in case it does so in ‘war insanity’ then, “our thousands of rebellions will give it a  hard-hitting reply.”

United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin made it clear on international community that Kashmir is a spark and if left unattended, then it disrupt the peace and tranquil atmosphere of whole of South Asia.
