SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed deep concern over the loss of lives caused by a road accident in Kathua district.
In a post on X, Office of Chief Minister wrote, “Chief Minister has expressed grief over the tragic bus accident in Samba carrying Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims, which has claimed one life and left many injured. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and assured all possible assistance”.

In an early morning road mishap, one person lost his life and at least 40 others were injured when a bus carrying pilgrims to the Vaishno Devi shrine was involved in a road accident in the Jatwal area of Samba district.
