Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahedeen Monday evening claimed responsibility of Sangam attack in which two CRPF personnel were killed.
Hizb operational spokesperson Baleeg-Ud-Din told CNS that Hizb militants attacked a Road Opening Party killing two CRPF personnel on spot. He said, “Mujahedeen successfully managed to snatch two rifles from ‘weak’ Indian security personnel.”
Baleeg-Ud-Din added that the militants who performed this act were rewarded by Amir-e-Hizb Saifullah Khalid.
“Such attacks will continue till Kashmir attains freedom,” he said.
