SRINAGAR: A Sanitary inspector attempted suicide by consumed some poisonous substance on Monday at Tangdar area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that a sanitary identified as Shabir Ahmad Lone 38 a resident of Handwara, posted at Tangdar attempted suicide by consumed some poisonous substance.
He was initially admitted to SDH Kupwara but after his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Srinagar hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard.
