Following an approval from the Hajj Ministry of Saudi Arabia, for the processing of visa for hajj and Umarah services, Jammu and Kashmir Association of Hajj and Umrah Companies (JKAHUC) held an event to felicitate the Raj Baba Tour and Travels for receiving the registration on Friday.

The company spokesman said that with the registration, Raj Baba Tour and Travels became the first company under JKAHUC who got registered with Hajj Ministry of Saudi Arabia and can facilitate visa for the Kashmir based companies.

He said, the travellers earlier used to approach the companies outside Kashmir for the registration process, but now the travel agents can receive the services from a local agent without any hindrance.

During the event, Javaid Ahmed owner of Raj Baba Tours and Travels Company was felicitated by the Jammu and Kashmir Association of Hajj and Umrah Companies (JKAHUC). Among the dignitaries CEO, J&K State Hajj Committee, Qamar Sajad and Hajj officer Mohammad Maqbool were also present on the occasion.

The spokesman added that there are thousands of people from Kashmir who visit the holy city Mecca through private companies, “it used to be bit hectic to approach to company outside the state for visa, now the services are easily available and it will probably benefit in context of time and economy as well,” he said.
