In a customer advisory issued on Sunday, SBI said it was making efforts to provide essential banking services during the strike period but asked customers to plan transactions that require branch visits or staff assistance ahead of the proposed strike.

For cash requirements, the bank has advised customers to use ATMs and Automated Deposit and Withdrawal Machines (ADWMs). It has also suggested using Customer Service Points (CSPs) for available banking services.

SBI further asked customers to rely on Internet Banking, YONO, mobile banking, UPI and other digital channels for transactions that can be carried out online.

The bank said it regretted any inconvenience that may be caused and thanked customers for their understanding.

The proposed strike is scheduled for September 28, 29 and 30. SBI had earlier said that branch and office operations could be affected depending on employee participation despite arrangements to maintain normal functioning.
